Our thoughts are turning to Autumn, and what we can do as a club to provide interesting and varied activities to help us through the cooler months to come.

We want to restart the Scrabble group, but we need a coordinator. Maybe some members would like to reinstate the small bridge group, could someone start another book group. How about learning crafts or a jigsaw exchange, garden group. The possibilities are endless, but we need your help!

The ladies lunches are ever popular, Mikes book group continued without interruption during the spring and summer. Foodies have a couple of events on the horizon, and the library is there for your convenience. But surely there are other small groups who could meet on a regular basis for company and support during the months to come. We, the committee, will help you establish any group if needed, help find venues, so thinking caps on everyone please, and let us know what small group you could start or become part of for Autumn.

Just speak to any committee member if you have an idea, or email the club. We can’t wait to hear from you!
